Here we present some examples of the type of work we can produce, and some projects in development. We have attempted to provide an insight into the range of our work and demonstrate the individual nature of the websites that we work hard to produce, without losing the need for clarity and good design.

 

Edgewood Designs

Edgewood is a small business specialising in fine woodwork and landscape design. Nick Atkin set up Edgewood over 10 years ago, combining a love of furniture making with skills as a fully qualified Landscape Architect
This site uses a fixed width, and javascript to run an image slideshow on the gallery page.


 

Terrazza Restaurant

Established in 1996 this family run Italian Restaurant was voted No. 1 Restaurant of the Year 2002, and voted 3rd in 2003, by the AA and Staffordshire Good Food Awards.
This site uses a fluid design to adapt to different browser windows, and javascript to run an image slideshow on the main page.


 

Cafe Casita Restaurant

Visit Cafe Casita, a veritable jewel in the crown of the region's dining scene, the colourful, vibrant decor of the restaurant gets you in the mood for the culinary Italian delights.
This site uses a fixed design to control the layout strictly, and specialist fonts.


 

Boutique Maille Restaurant Website.

A classic and very clean website design, using two columns, and a left hand navigation bar. The website uses a fixed header, navigation links, and restaurant information across 7 pages. The page layout is controlled by a cascading style sheet (CSS), and makes use of optimised J-Peg images.

A crisp web site with the emphasis on images. Left hand navigation bar, and image links to javascript slideshows. The images are categorized into news groups and expand to the full size image when clicked. The site is controlled via CSS, and also uses Javascript files for the image effects and transitions.


 

Totley Towers Country Hotel.

A variation on the 2-column design, using a central 'container' on the page for the text and a right hand section to promote images of the area to interest the visitor. The 'container' feature also fits for print preview and with the correct styling will automatically be printer friendly to users.


 

Pretty Petals Florists Website.

A simple website design, using two columns, and a left hand navigation bar. The website uses a logo, and a large image to capture the eye. The page layout is controlled by a cascading style sheet (CSS), and makes use of optimised J-Peg images.


 

A reading list in the style of a web log (Blog).

Link to Bookclub

Here the site does not use the normal two or three column design, and adopts the layout of web log or single sheet report. Hyperlinks to the other pages are provided from within the text, and the page layout is divided into blocks. The page layout remains under the control of a style sheet (CSS).
