Start-Up Guide
We all lead busy lives, but rest assured at PortraitDesigns we will make time to ensure your web site is carefully put together, and reflects your original intentions. We believe we have an eye for stylish design combined with clarity, and crisp interactivity for the user. The start-up guide tells you how we like to work with our customers. There are five basic steps to get us moving together as quickly as possible, as we move toward a stylish web site projecting your image. Our approach is as follows:
- Submit your request to PortraitDesigns.
Use our submit your request document, and e-mail it to us. Alternatively you may fax your web site idea, or simply telephone our customer service manager, who will discuss requirements directly with you. Click any of the hyperlinks (blue text), or the 'contact us' menu option on the left hand side.
- PortraitDesigns prepares a no obligation quotation for your site.
We have a straight-forward pricing policy, and will clearly set out the cost for each component. Please see our pricing guide, where web site prices start from a little as £99 for a one page business card and £299 for a 5-page web site package, including hosting and domain name purchase. Click the 'Special Offer' hyperlink on the right hand side of this page.
- You confirm our quotation, and your requirements, and provide a 20% deposit.
Once you are happy with the quotation, and we understand your requirements, we ask for a 20% deposit to commence the production of the web site.
- PortraitDesigns builds the outline structure, and example page content for your site.
We begin building the web site to your specification, and publish the pages to our test server web space where you view progress and provide feedback. We will also contact you within the agreed timescale to seek your feedback.
- PortraitDesigns publishes the completed site with the web host of your choice.
Once completed to your satisfaction, we request final payment. Registration of the domain name and hosting will then be arranged and your website published. Any ongoing maintenance and updates required will be agreed with you in advance.
We are happy to offer follow up maintenance services. Updates will ensure your website is kept current and interesting to the viewer. Alternatively we can provide you with the means to update the website yourself.
